In order to effectively address obesity, we need to understand the role of insulin in regulating fat storage and metabolism. Insulin is a key hormone that controls the storage and release of fat in the body. When insulin levels are high, our bodies are in storage mode and we are unable to burn fat for energy. This leads to weight gain and obesity. To combat obesity, we need to focus on reducing insulin levels through dietary interventions such as reducing refined carbohydrates and sugars. By reducing the consumption of these foods, we can lower insulin levels and allow our bodies to tap into stored fat for energy. This approach addresses the root cause of obesity by targeting the hormonal imbalances that drive weight gain.
