The goal of mindfulness practice is to awaken to the true nature of reality. This may sound like a lofty ambition, but it is actually quite practical. When we pay attention to our moment-to-moment experience with clarity and openness, we begin to see things as they truly are. We see that our thoughts, emotions, and sensations are constantly changing, arising and passing away in the field of awareness.
