Processed foods are convenient, there is no denying that. They are quick to prepare, easy to store, and have a long shelf life. But what are we really sacrificing for that convenience? Our health. Processed foods are often packed with artificial ingredients, preservatives, and additives that can wreak havoc on our bodies. These ingredients are not meant to be consumed on a regular basis, yet they have become a staple in many people's diets. When we consume processed foods, we are not giving our bodies the nutrients they need to thrive. These foods are often stripped of their natural vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants during processing.
