To improve health, we must confront the harsh reality that sugar is not our friend. Sugar has insidiously crept into our diets, disguising itself in many forms and wreaking havoc on our bodies. The excessive consumption of sugar is directly linked to a myriad of health issues, ranging from obesity to heart disease. Our bodies simply cannot handle the onslaught of sugar that we subject them to on a daily basis.
