Mindfulness is not something to be practiced only during meditation or while engaging in specific activities. It is a way of being present in every moment, no matter what we are doing. Whether we are walking, eating, or working, we can cultivate mindfulness by simply being aware of our breath and our body. When we are mindful, we are fully alive and fully present in the here and now. We are not lost in our thoughts about the past or the future.
