So how much water should you drink during your workouts? The general rule of thumb is to drink about 17-20 ounces of water 2-3 hours before exercising. During your workout, aim to drink 7-10 ounces every 10-20 minutes, depending on the intensity of your exercise. After you're done, drink another 8 ounces within 30 minutes, and continue hydrating throughout the day. Remember, everyone's hydration needs are different, so pay attention to how your body feels during your workouts. If you're feeling thirsty, fatigued, or dizzy, chances are you need to drink more water. Proper hydration is crucial for optimal performance, so make sure you're giving your body the fluids it needs to perform at its best.
