Practice deep listening in all conversations from "summary" of The Art of Communicating by Thich Nhat Hanh

To truly listen is to be fully present. It is not just about hearing the words that are being spoken, but about being attentive to the person who is speaking. When we practice deep listening, we are not preoccupied with our own thoughts or judgments. We are focused on understanding the other person, on being there for them in that moment. Deep listening requires us to set aside our own agenda and ego. We must let go of the need to be right or to have the last word.
