It is a way to cultivate gratitude and compassion from "summary" of Yoga by Osho

When we practice gratitude and compassion, we are nourishing our souls with the most precious gifts. Gratitude allows us to see the beauty in every moment, to appreciate the abundance that surrounds us. It shifts our focus from what we lack to what we have, from what is wrong to what is right. It opens our hearts to the richness of life, filling us with joy and contentment. Compassion, on the other hand, is the natural expression of a grateful heart. When we are grateful, we are more attuned to the needs and suffering of others. We are more willing to lend a helping hand, to offer a kind word, to share our blessings with those in need. Compassion is the bridge that connects us to the hearts of others, allowing us to see ourselves in them, and them in us. Together, gratitude and compassion create a powerful force for transformation. They free us from the chains of ego and self-centeredness, opening us up to the interconnectedness of all beings. They remind us that we are all part of a larger whole, that our happiness is bound up with the happiness of others. They teach us to live with open hearts and open hands, to give and receive with grace and humility.
  1. Nurturing them like precious seeds. Let us water them with love and kindness, allowing them to grow and flourish. Let us be grateful for all that we have, and compassionate towards all that we encounter. For in gratitude and compassion, we find the true essence of yoga – union with ourselves, with others, and with the divine.
