It is crucial for our emotional health and wellbeing that we establish and maintain healthy personal boundaries. This means being able to recognize when someone is crossing a line, and having the courage to speak up and defend ourselves. It means knowing our own worth and not settling for less than we deserve in our relationships. By setting clear boundaries with others, we are not only protecting ourselves, but we are also teaching others how to treat us. We are sending a message that we are worthy of respect, love, and kindness.
