Let go of attachment to outcomes from "summary" of Stoic Spiritual Exercises by Elen Buzaré

The Stoics believed that one of the key principles to achieving inner peace and tranquility is to release our attachment to outcomes. This means accepting that we cannot control everything that happens in our lives, and that trying to cling too tightly to a specific result will only lead to suffering and disappointment. When we become overly attached to a particular outcome, we set ourselves up for frustration and anxiety. We invest all of our hopes and dreams in a single possibility, without considering the many other potential paths that life could take. This narrow focus blinds us to the beauty and richness of the present moment, as we are consumed by thoughts of what might have been or what could be. By letting go of our attachment to outcomes, we free ourselves from the tyranny of expectations. We learn to appreciate the process rather than fixating on the end result, allowing ourselves to fully engage with whatever life throws our way. This mindset shift enables us to approach challenges with a sense of calm and equanimity, knowing that we have done our best and that the rest is out of our hands.
