Practice mindfulness through stitching from "summary" of Sewing Happiness by Sanae Ishida

Incorporating mindfulness into daily activities has been a game-changer for me. I find that when I approach my tasks with intention and focus, I am able to fully immerse myself in the present moment, which brings a sense of peace and contentment. One of the ways I practice mindfulness is through stitching. When I sit down at my sewing machine or pick up a needle and thread, I make a conscious effort to slow down and pay attention to each stitch. I focus on the feel of the fabric beneath my fingers, the sound of the machine humming, or the gentle rhythm of the needle moving in and out.
