It is within your power to control your thoughts. Do not let them roam freely without direction or purpose. Just as a skilled horseman controls his steed with a firm hand, so too must you rein in your thoughts and guide them towards virtue and wisdom. When negative or destructive thoughts arise, do not allow them to take root in your mind. Instead, dismiss them like a passing cloud in the sky.
