Perfectionism is a common trait amongst many of us. We strive for perfection in all aspects of our lives, whether it be our work, our relationships, or even our appearance. We set high standards for ourselves and beat ourselves up when we inevitably fall short. But striving for perfection is a fruitless pursuit that only leads to stress, anxiety, and self-doubt. When we let go of perfectionism, we free ourselves from the shackles of unrealistic expectations. We allow ourselves to be imperfect, to make mistakes, and to learn and grow from them.
