Autoconciencia favorece autoaceptación from "summary" of EQ. Inteligencia Emocional by Doris Märtin,Karin Boeck

The concept of self-awareness leading to self-acceptance is a fundamental aspect of emotional intelligence. When we are able to understand our own emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, we can better accept ourselves for who we are. This self-awareness allows us to recognize our strengths and weaknesses, as well as our values and beliefs. By becoming more in tune with ourselves, we are able to build a stronger sense of self-acceptance. Self-awareness is the ability to recognize and understand our own emotions, as well as how they impact our thoughts and actions. It involves being honest with ourselves about our feelings and motivations, even when they are uncomfortable or difficult to face. When we are self-aware, we can identify patterns in our behavior and make changes to improve our relationships and overall well-being. Self-acceptance is the ability to embrace ourselves as we are, without judgment or criticism. It involves recognizing and appreciating our unique qualities and characteristics, even those that may be considered flaws or imperfections. When we accept ourselves, we are able to build a more positive self-image and develop a greater sense of self-worth. By cultivating self-awareness, we can begin to understand the reasons behind our thoughts and actions. This understanding allows us to make more informed decisions and respond to situations in a more thoughtful and intentional manner. As we become more aware of ourselves, we can let go of unrealistic expectations and embrace our true selves with compassion and understanding.
