Conditioning begins at birth from "summary" of Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

From the moment a baby enters the world, it is subjected to a carefully orchestrated system of conditioning. This system, designed to mold individuals into compliant and predictable members of society, begins at birth and continues throughout their lives. In the highly controlled environment of the World State, every aspect of a person's development is carefully managed to ensure that they conform to the norms and values of the society in which they live. Infants are exposed to a series of stimuli designed to shape their beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors from a very young age. Through a process known as Neo-Pavlovian conditioning, babies are conditioned to associate certain stimuli with specific responses. For example, infants are repeatedly exposed to loud noises and electric shocks to instill a fear of flowers and books. This conditioning serves to create a deep-seated aversion to anything that goes against the values of the World State. As children grow older, they are further indoctrinated through a process of social conditioning. They are taught to value conformity, stability, and consumerism above all else. This conditioning is reinforced through the use of slogans, propaganda, and other forms of psychological manipulation. Children are encouraged to participate in group activities, such as the Solidarity Services, which serve to reinforce their sense of community and belonging. Throughout their lives, individuals are bombarded with messages that reinforce the values of the World State. They are taught to prioritize pleasure and instant gratification above all else, and to avoid anything that might cause discomfort or disrupt the status quo. This relentless conditioning serves to ensure that individuals remain content and compliant, accepting their predetermined place in society without question. In the World State, conditioning is not simply a tool used to control individuals; it is a fundamental aspect of their existence. From the moment they are born, individuals are shaped and molded to fit into the preordained roles assigned to them by society. Through a combination of psychological manipulation, social conditioning, and physical indoctrination, every aspect of a person's development is carefully controlled to ensure that they remain obedient and predictable members of the World State.
