To make it easier to form habits, we should pay attention to our environment. By setting up our surroundings for success, we can make it easier to adopt new habits and break old ones. This idea is based on the concept of "choice architecture," the idea that our environment shapes our behavior. We can use this concept to our advantage by intentionally creating an environment that makes it more likely for us to follow through on our desired habits. One way to set up our environment for success is to eliminate temptations and obstacles that may get in the way of our desired habits.
