Throughout the darkest moments of my childhood, I discovered a glimmer of hope in the act of sharing my story. At first, I was hesitant to reveal the painful truth of my abuse, fearing judgment and rejection. But as I opened up to others, I found a sense of relief and validation that I had never experienced before. By speaking out about the horrors I endured at the hands of my mother, I began to reclaim my sense of self-worth and dignity.
