Trauma can be transformed by accessing the body's innate resources, which are our natural ability to heal and recover from overwhelming experiences. When we experience trauma, our bodies go into a state of high arousal, preparing us to fight, flee, or freeze in response to the threat. However, if we are unable to discharge this energy through physical action, it becomes trapped in our bodies, leading to symptoms of trauma such as anxiety, depression, and physical pain.
