Training was grueling but necessary from "summary" of The Race of My Life by Milkha Singh
The training sessions I endured were nothing short of grueling, pushing my body to its limits day in and day out. Each session was a test of my physical and mental strength, requiring me to dig deep within myself to find the motivation to keep going. The intense workouts left me exhausted and sore, but I knew that this was necessary in order to achieve my goal of becoming a champion. The long hours spent on the track, running countless laps under the scorching sun, were both physically and mentally draining. I pushed myself harder than I ever thought possible, determined to get stronger and faster with each passing day. The pain and fatigue were constant companions during those training sessions, but I knew that they were a necessary part of the journey towards success. The strict regimen that I followed demanded discipline and dedication, forcing me to make sacrifices in order to stay focused on my training. I had to give up many of the comforts of everyday life in order to fully commit to my goal. While it was not easy, I understood that this level of dedication was essential if I wanted to stand on the winner's podium one day. Despite the hardships and challenges that came with my training, I never once thought about giving up. I knew that every drop of sweat, every ache and pain, was bringing me one step closer to realizing my dreams. The grueling nature of my training was a test of my resilience and determination, pushing me to go beyond what I thought was possible.- I can now see that the intense training I underwent was indeed necessary for me to achieve success on the track. It was through these difficult and demanding workouts that I was able to build the strength, speed, and endurance needed to compete at the highest level. The sacrifices I made and the hard work I put in during those training sessions ultimately paid off, as I went on to achieve greatness in the world of athletics.
