The present moment is all there ever is from "summary" of The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle

The present moment is all there ever is. It sounds simple, doesn't it? Yet if you truly grasp the depth of this concept, it can transform your entire existence. Many people spend their lives dwelling on the past or worrying about the future, failing to realize that the present moment is where life truly unfolds. When you are fully present in the now, you are free from the burdens of the past and the anxieties of the future. All your problems exist in your mind, which is constantly oscillating between what was and what could be. But in reality, there is only this moment - right here, right now. By surrendering to the present moment, you can break free from the cycle of suffering. Your mind may resist this idea, as it thrives on chaos and drama. But if you can silence the incessant chatter of your thoughts and simply be, you will discover a profound sense of peace and clarity. Living in the now does not mean neglecting your responsibilities or ignoring the lessons of the past. It simply means embracing each moment as it comes, without attaching unnecessary meaning or judgment to it. When you learn to accept what is without resistance, you will find that life flows with ease and grace. The present moment is where you will find true joy, love, and fulfillment. It is the only place where you can experience life in its purest form, unfiltered by the distortions of your mind. So why waste your precious moments dwelling on what was or what could be, when the beauty of life is unfolding right in front of you, right now.
