By shining a light on these patterns, we can begin to challenge and reframe our negative self-talk, replacing it with more empowering and compassionate thoughts. Forgiveness is a key component of releasing self-judgment, both towards ourselves and towards others. By forgiving ourselves for our past mistakes and perceived failures, we can let go of the shame and guilt that weigh us down. Similarly, by forgiving those who have hurt us in the past, we release ourselves from the resentment and anger that can poison our relationships and our sense of self-worth.
