Liberation from cycle of birth and death from "summary" of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta - Gita Saar (Hindi) 2020: भाग 6 by पं. रवि शर्मा

The concept of liberation from the cycle of birth and death is a central theme in the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. In the Gita, Lord Krishna explains that the soul is eternal and indestructible, and that it undergoes a process of reincarnation, taking birth in different bodies in each life. This cycle of birth and death is known as samsara, and it is characterized by suffering and the experience of pleasure and pain. According to the Gita, liberation from this cycle of birth and death is the ultimate goal of human life. This liberation is known as moksha, and it is attained when the soul realizes its true nature as eternal and unchanging. Once this realization occurs, the soul is freed from the cycle of samsara and experiences a state of pure bliss and peace. The Gita teaches that liberation from the cycle of birth and death is achieved through self-realization and spiritual knowledge. By following the path of dharma, or righteous action, and cultivating qualities such as compassion, humility, and devotion, one can purify the mind and attain spiritual wisdom. Through the practice of meditation and contemplation, one can come to know the true nature of the self and realize its oneness with the Supreme Being.
  1. Liberation from the cycle of birth and death is a state of complete freedom and liberation from all forms of suffering and bondage. It is a state of eternal peace and bliss, where the soul is united with the Divine and experiences the highest form of happiness and fulfillment. Through the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, one can learn how to attain this state of liberation and live a life of purpose, meaning, and spiritual fulfillment.
