Arjuna's dilemma in the battlefield from "summary" of The Bhagavad Gita by

Arjuna, standing on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, faced a deep moral dilemma. As he looked out at the opposing forces, he saw friends, family, and revered teachers arrayed against him. Overwhelmed by the prospect of fighting and killing those closest to him, he was filled with doubt and despair. He hesitated, unsure of what course of action to take.
