To truly heal from the wounds of the past, one must first come to terms with the reality of their present situation. This means accepting the truth of what has happened, no matter how painful or difficult it may be. Only by acknowledging the existence of our struggles can we begin to address them in a meaningful way. Denial, on the other hand, only serves to perpetuate our suffering. By refusing to accept the truth of our circumstances, we prevent ourselves from moving forward and finding true healing.
