Therapy saved me. It was as simple as that. I had reached a point where I couldn't see any way out. I was drowning in my own mind, suffocating under the weight of my thoughts. Therapy was my lifeboat, my beacon of hope in the darkness. It provided me with a safe space to unravel the tangled mess inside my head, to voice the things I had kept hidden for so long. Talking to a therapist felt like releasing a pressure valve. Every session brought me a little closer to understanding myself, to untangling the knots of my mind. My therapist didn't try to fix me or tell me what to do. Instead, he listened with empathy and compassion, guiding me gently towards a place of healing.
