When someone rejects us, it can feel like a blow to our ego. We may feel hurt, embarrassed, or even angry. However, if we can learn to handle rejection gracefully, it can actually improve our mind reading skills. How is this possible? Well, when we are rejected, we are forced to step outside of ourselves and consider the thoughts and feelings of the other person. We have to try to understand why they are saying no, what their reasons are, and what we can learn from the experience. By approaching rejection with grace and humility, we are able to put ourselves in the other person's shoes. We can start to see things from their perspective and gain insight into their mindset.
