Eddie Ball is a twelve-year-old kid who lives in the small town of Middletown. He's the kind of kid who's always thinking about basketball. His room is filled with posters of famous NBA players and he spends every spare minute shooting hoops in his backyard. Eddie dreams of becoming a basketball star one day, but right now his biggest problem is that he can't seem to make a shot from the three-point line. Eddie's life takes an unexpected turn when he wins a million-dollar prize in a shooting contest. The prize is sponsored by the National Basketball Association and all Eddie has to do is sink a basket from the three-point line during halftime at a big NBA game. It seems like a dream come true, but there's a catch - Eddie has to make the shot with everyone in the stadium watching him, including his friends, family, and millions of viewers on TV. As the day of the big game approaches, Eddie's nerves start to get the best of him. He practices tirelessly, but no matter how hard he tries, he just can't seem to make the shot. The pressure is on, and Eddie knows that his entire future depends on his ability to sink that basket. Will he be able to overcome his fear and make the shot of a lifetime, or will he crack under the pressure and miss his chance at fame and fortune? The outcome of Eddie's shot hangs in the balance as he steps onto the court with all eyes on him.
