Healing takes time from "summary" of Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur
Healing does not happen overnight. It is not a switch that can be flipped on and off at will. It is a gradual process that requires patience and time. Just as a wound takes time to heal, so too do emotional scars. It is a journey that cannot be rushed or forced. It is important to allow oneself the space and time needed to heal properly. Often, we want to speed up the healing process, to move on quickly from pain and trauma. But healing is not something that can be hurried. It is a delicate process that requires careful attention and nurturing. Just as a plant needs time to grow and flourish, so too do we need time to heal and recover. In our fast-paced world, we are often encouraged to move on quickly from pain and suffering. We are told to put on a brave face and carry on as if nothing has happened. But true healing cannot be rushed. It requires us to confront our pain head-on, to sit with it and allow ourselves to feel it fully. Only then can we begin to heal and move forward. Healing takes courage. It takes strength to face our demons and work through our pain. It is not easy, but it is necessary for growth and transformation. Just as a caterpillar must struggle to break free from its cocoon in order to become a butterfly, so too must we struggle through our pain in order to emerge stronger and more resilient. It is important to remember that healing is not a linear process. There will be setbacks and obstacles along the way. But it is important to stay the course, to keep moving forward, even when the road seems long and difficult. With time and patience, healing will come. It may not be easy, but it will be worth it in the end.Similar Posts
