Prioritize physical fitness from "summary" of Living with a SEAL by Jesse Itzler

In one of the most important lessons I learned during my time living with SEAL, it was the need to make physical fitness a top priority in my daily life. This concept was not just about hitting the gym a few times a week or going for a run when I felt like it. It was about making a commitment to my health and well-being that was unwavering and non-negotiable. SEAL showed me that physical fitness should not be something we squeeze in when we have time or when it's convenient. It should be at the forefront of everything we do, influencing our decisions and actions on a daily basis. By making physical fitness a priority, we are investing in our long-term health and happiness. This concept was not just about the physical benefits of exercise, but also the mental and emotional benefits that come with taking care of our bodies. SEAL taught me that by prioritizing physical fitness, we can improve our focus, increase our energy levels, and boost our overall mood and outlook on life. In order to prioritize physical fitness, SEAL emphasized the importance of setting specific goals and holding ourselves accountable for achieving them. Whether it was committing to a certain number of workouts per week or striving to hit a new personal record in a race, having clear goals helped me stay motivated and on track. Additionally, SEAL showed me that prioritizing physical fitness meant making sacrifices and pushing through discomfort in order to reach our full potential. It required dedication, discipline, and a willingness to step outside of our comfort zones in order to see real progress and results. By making physical fitness a priority in my life, I was able to not only improve my physical health and fitness levels but also cultivate a mindset of resilience, determination, and perseverance that continues to serve me in all areas of my life.
