I am a food addict from "summary" of Food: A Love Story by Jim Gaffigan

I have come to accept that I am a food addict. It's not a label I ever thought I would wear, but the evidence is indisputable. My daily thoughts revolve around what I will eat next, how I can get my hands on it, and when I can eat it without anyone judging me. Food has a hold on me that I can't seem to shake. I find myself craving certain foods at all hours of the day, unable to resist the temptation to indulge in them. The mere thought of a juicy cheeseburger or a slice of gooey pizza can send me into a frenzy of desire. I know that I should be more disciplined, more in control of my impulses, but when faced with a plate of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, all bets are off.
