Trust in your own inner wisdom from "summary" of Being Zen by Ezra Bayda
When we talk about trust in our own inner wisdom, we are really talking about trusting ourselves. This may sound simple, but it’s not always easy to do. We are often bombarded with external messages telling us what we should be doing, thinking, and feeling. These messages can drown out our own inner voice, leaving us feeling confused and disconnected. Trusting in our own inner wisdom means learning to listen to ourselves, to really pay attention to what is going on inside. This requires quieting the mind and tuning in to our bodies and emotions. It means taking the time to sit with ourselves, to be present with whatever is arising, without judgment or resistance. It’s important to remember that our inner wisdom is always there, waiting to be heard. It is a deep well of knowledge and intuition that can guide us in our lives. But we must be willing to trust it, to believe that we have the answers we seek within us. Trusting in our own inner wisdom also means learning to let go of the need for external validation. We don’t need to look to others to tell us what is right or wrong, true or false. We can look within ourselves for the answers we seek, knowing that we have the capacity to make wise decisions and choices. When we trust in our own inner wisdom, we are tapping into a source of strength and clarity that can help us navigate life’s challenges with grace and ease. We are honoring ourselves and our own unique path, rather than trying to conform to external expectations. So the next time you find yourself feeling lost or unsure, remember to trust in your own inner wisdom. Take the time to listen to yourself, to really tune in to what you are feeling and experiencing. You may be surprised at the wisdom that lies within you, just waiting to be acknowledged and embraced.Similar Posts
