The animals on Manor Farm had a vision, a dream of equality and freedom from the tyranny of humans. They believed in the principles of Animalism, laid out by Old Major, which promised a society where all animals were equal, where they worked together for the common good. This vision inspired them to overthrow Mr. Jones and take control of the farm. However, as time passed, the pigs, who had taken on the role of leaders, began to slowly but surely betray the very ideals they had once fought for. At first, the pigs seemed to be working towards the collective good of all the animals. They took on the responsibility of managing the farm and making decisions that would benefit everyone. However, as they consolidated their power, they started to prioritize their own interests above those of the other animals.
