Rise of authoritarianism from "summary" of Animal Farm and 1984 by George Orwell
The gradual erosion of individual freedoms in society is a sinister process that often goes unnoticed until it is too late. In both Animal Farm and 1984, George Orwell explores the rise of authoritarianism through the lens of dystopian societies where power is consolidated in the hands of a few at the expense of the many.
