It may seem counterintuitive, but taking breaks and allowing time for rest and relaxation is crucial for effective learning. When we push ourselves too hard without giving our brains a chance to recharge, we actually hinder our ability to absorb and retain new information. Studies have shown that our brains need downtime to consolidate memories and make connections between new information and what we already know. When we are constantly in "go" mode, our brains become overloaded and struggle to process information efficiently.
