The meaningful choice, on the other hand, requires effort, sacrifice, and delayed gratification. It is the choice that aligns with our values, our goals, our purpose. It is the choice that leads to growth, fulfillment, and ultimately, a meaningful life. Choosing what is expedient over what is meaningful may seem like the easy choice in the short term, but it comes at a cost. When we consistently prioritize what is expedient, we sacrifice our long-term well-being, our sense of purpose, our integrity.
