Self-awareness is crucial in the maintenance of health. It is the foundation upon which all other aspects of health rest. Without self-awareness, we cannot truly understand our needs, desires, or limits. We cannot effectively care for ourselves if we do not know who we are and what we require to thrive. Furthermore, self-awareness plays a key role in managing stress. By understanding our own triggers and responses to stress, we can develop coping strategies that are tailored to our individual needs. This can help prevent chronic stress from taking a toll on our bodies and leading to serious health conditions.
