Think like a child from "summary" of Think Like a Rocket Scientist by Ozan Varol

Children approach the world with a sense of wonder and curiosity that is often lost in adulthood. They ask questions without fear of looking foolish and are unafraid to challenge assumptions. As we grow older, we tend to become more cautious and risk-averse, losing touch with the creativity and imagination that once came so naturally to us. Thinking like a child means embracing a mindset of openness and creativity. It means looking at problems from new angles, without being constrained by preconceived notions or limitations. Children do not automatically accept the status quo; they are constantly seeking new ways to understand the world around them. To think like a child is to be willing to experiment and take risks, knowing that failure is simply a stepping stone on the path to success. Children are not afraid to try new things and learn from their mistakes. They approach challenges with a sense of resilience and determination that is often lacking in adults. By adopting a childlike mindset, we can tap into our innate creativity and problem-solving abilities. We can break free from the constraints of conventional thinking and explore new possibilities. Thinking like a child allows us to see the world with fresh eyes, uncovering solutions that may have eluded us in the past. As we grow older, it is easy to become set in our ways and resistant to change. But by embracing the childlike curiosity and openness that once defined us, we can unlock new levels of innovation and creativity. Thinking like a child is not about abandoning our adult responsibilities; it is about approaching those responsibilities with a sense of wonder and possibility.
