Alienation is the state in which the individual feels disconnected from themselves, from others, and from the world around them. It is a condition of separation and isolation, where the individual experiences a sense of loss, emptiness, and meaninglessness. This feeling of alienation arises from a lack of connection to one's own true self, to others, and to the larger social and cultural context in which one exists. This state of alienation is a result of the fractured and fragmented nature of modern life, where individuals are increasingly isolated from each other and from the world around them. In this fragmented state, individuals lose touch with their own inner selves, their own desires and passions, and their own sense of purpose and meaning. They become disconnected from the social and cultural norms and values that once provided a sense of belonging and identity. Reconciliation, on the other hand, is the process of overcoming alienation and re-establishing connection and unity with oneself, with others, and with the world.
