As time passed, Gregor found himself struggling more and more with his new insect form. He felt isolated and disconnected from his family, unable to communicate or even be understood by them. His sense of self-worth plummeted as he was reduced to a mere burden on his family, unable to provide for them as he once had. The physical and emotional strain of his transformation took a toll on his mental well-being, leading to feelings of despair and hopelessness. Gregor's deteriorating mental state was also evident in his increasingly erratic behavior. He became more agitated and irritable, snapping at his family members and lashing out in frustration. He struggled to come to terms with his new reality, unable to accept the drastic change that had befallen him.
