Every single thought you think and every word you say is an affirmation. All of our self-talk or inner dialogue is a stream of affirmations. You're using affirmations every moment whether you know it or not. You're affirming and creating your life experiences with every word and thought. Our beliefs are just habitual thinking patterns that we learned as children. Many of them work well for us, but others may now be working against us, they are dysfunctional and may be sabotaging us from achieving what we believe we want. Every affirmation we think or say is a reflection of our beliefs. It is important to realize that many of these beliefs are not true and that we do not have to continue to live with them. The power of affirmations lies in their ability to transform our inner world by changing beliefs. When we consistently repeat positive affirmations, we create new neural pathways in our brain, which in turn changes our thought patterns, our behavior, and our life experiences. Affirmations are like seed planted in soil. Poor soil, poor growth. Rich soil, abundant growth. The more you choose to think thoughts that make you feel good, the quicker the affirmations work. Affirmations are a powerful tool to deliberately install desired beliefs about yourself. Get creative. Let these affirmations become your truth.
