Surrender to the present moment from "summary" of The Letting Go Guided Journal by David R. Hawkins

The key to experiencing true freedom and inner peace lies in fully accepting and embracing the present moment. When we surrender to what is happening right now, we let go of resistance and open ourselves up to the flow of life. This state of surrender allows us to release the grip of our ego and connect with our higher self. Surrendering to the present moment does not mean passive acceptance or resignation. It is an active choice to be fully present and engaged with whatever is unfolding in front of us. By letting go of our need to control or manipulate situations, we create space for miracles to happen. When we release the burden of trying to force outcomes, we can trust in the divine intelligence of the universe. This concept of surrender requires a deep sense of trust and faith in the inherent goodness of life. It is about relinquishing our attachment to specific outcomes and instead focusing on the journey itself. When we surrender, we release the need to constantly judge or label our experiences and instead approach them with a sense of curiosity and openness. In the state of surrender, we are able to let go of past regrets and future anxieties, allowing ourselves to fully immerse in the present moment. This practice of mindfulness enables us to cultivate a sense of gratitude for the simple joys of life and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. By surrendering to the present moment, we free ourselves from the shackles of our conditioned mind and step into a state of pure awareness.
