Recognizing the transient nature of the world from "summary" of The Jap Ji by Nānak (Guru)
The world is a fleeting illusion, constantly changing and impermanent. Everything we see, hear, touch, and feel is transient, like a passing cloud or a fleeting dream. This impermanence is a fundamental truth of existence, one that we must come to terms with in order to find peace and enlightenment. To recognize the transient nature of the world is to understand that nothing lasts forever. The material possessions we hold dear, the relationships we cherish, the achievements we strive for - all of these are temporary and will eventually fade away. This understanding can be liberating, freeing us from attachment and desire, and allowing us to live in the present moment with acceptance and grace.
