Deep Thought is the supercomputer that calculated the answer to life from "summary" of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams

Deep Thought was the supercomputer built by a group of hyper-intelligent beings. These beings wanted to know the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything, and so they created Deep Thought for that very purpose. Deep Thought was not an ordinary computer. It was vast, complex, and incredibly powerful. It was designed to think deeply and profoundly about the question it had been given. After seven and a half million years of computation, Deep Thought finally came up with an answer. The answer, as it turned out, was simply the number 42. This seemingly nonsensical answer puzzled everyone, including Deep Thought itself. It was revealed that the answer seemed meaningless because the beings who had asked the question were not entirely sure what the question actually was. To find out what the Ultimate Question actually was, an even more powerful computer called Earth was created. Earth was meant to be a supercomputer that would calculate the Ultimate Question. However, before Earth could come up with the question, it was destroyed to make way for a hyperspace bypass. And so, the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything remains a mystery, with only the enigmatic number 42 as a clue. Deep Thought's calculation of this answer remains a testament to the power and complexity of supercomputers, as well as the limitations of human understanding in the face of the vastness of the universe.
