Prophet Nuh's mission from "summary" of Stories of the Prophets by Ismāʻīl ibn ʻUmar Ibn Kathīr
Prophet Nuh was sent as a messenger to his people. He called them to worship Allah alone and abandon the worship of idols. He warned them of the punishment that would befall them if they continued in their disbelief. Prophet Nuh conveyed the message to his people with wisdom and patience, hoping that they would heed his words and turn back to Allah.
