The Stoic idea of living in harmony with the cosmos was central to their philosophy from "summary" of Stoicism by John Sellars

The Stoics believed that the cosmos was a rational and ordered system, governed by divine reason, which they referred to as logos. This divine reason was immanent in the world and suffused all things, shaping the natural order of the universe. To live in harmony with the cosmos, therefore, meant to align one's inner rational principle, or logos, with the universal logos that governed the world. This alignment required cultivating virtues such as wisdom, courage, justice, and self-discipline, which enabled individuals to live in accordance with nature and fulfill their role within the cosmic order.
