Acceptance of the present moment is the key to finding inner peace and contentment in our lives. When we resist what is happening in the present moment, we create suffering for ourselves. By accepting the reality of the present moment, we can free ourselves from unnecessary stress and anxiety. This does not mean that we should resign ourselves to a passive existence. Acceptance is not the same as approval. It simply means acknowledging what is happening without judgment or resistance. When we accept the present moment, we are able to see things as they truly are.
