We are stronger than we think from "summary" of Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover

Strength is not always something we can see or feel on the surface. It's not loud or attention-grabbing. In fact, it often hides in the quiet moments, in the small victories we achieve when no one is watching. We underestimate ourselves, our abilities, our resilience. We forget that we have faced challenges before and come out the other side stronger than we were before. We forget that we have the power within us to overcome whatever life throws our way. It's easy to get lost in the darkness of our struggles, to believe that we are not strong enough to handle what lies ahead. But strength is not measured by the absence of fear or doubt. It is found in the moments when we push through despite our uncertainties, when we refuse to let our fears dictate our actions. It is in those moments that we realize just how much we are capable of, how much we can endure and overcome. We are often our own worst critics, quick to doubt ourselves and our abilities. But we must remember that strength is not about being perfect or invincible. It is about being resilient, about getting back up every time we fall. It is about facing our fears head-on, even when it feels overwhelming. It is about believing in ourselves, even when the world seems to be against us. Strength is not a fixed trait that some are born with and others are not. It is a choice we make every day, to keep going even when it feels impossible. It is a muscle that grows stronger with every challenge we face, every obstacle we overcome. We are capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for. We have the power within us to rise above our circumstances and emerge stronger, wiser, and more resilient than we ever thought possible.
