Junie B. Jones had to take care of the classroom's pet bird. The teacher chose her because she thought Junie B. could handle the responsibility. At first, Junie B. was excited about the task. She even named the bird "Bob." But soon, she realized that taking care of a pet was not as easy as she thought. Junie B. had to remember to feed Bob every day and make sure he had fresh water.
