Continuously evolving and adapting to change is necessary in living your ikigai from "summary" of Ikigai by Keira Miki

Living your ikigai requires a willingness to continuously evolve and adapt to change. This is because the path to finding and pursuing your purpose is not a static one; it is a journey that is constantly shifting and unfolding. Just as life is filled with unexpected twists and turns, so too is the pursuit of your ikigai. When we are open to change and willing to embrace new experiences, we create space for growth and transformation. This flexibility allows us to navigate the challenges and opportunities that come our way, and to learn and evolve along the way. By remaining open and adaptable, we are better able to respond to the ever-changing landscape of our lives. Embracing change also means being willing to let go of old patterns and beliefs that no longer serve us. It requires us to be honest with ourselves about what is no longer working, and to be willing to make the necessary changes to align with our true purpose. This can be a difficult process, as it often requires us to step outside of our comfort zones and confront our fears and insecurities. However, by facing these challenges head-on, we are able to grow and expand in ways we never thought possible. We are able to uncover new aspects of ourselves and to discover hidden talents and passions that may have been lying dormant. In this way, change becomes a catalyst for personal growth and self-discovery.
  1. Living your ikigai is about being willing to embrace the unknown and to trust in the process of life. It is about having faith that everything happens for a reason, and that each experience, whether positive or negative, is an opportunity for growth and learning. By remaining open, adaptable, and willing to change, we are able to live our lives in alignment with our true purpose and to create a sense of fulfillment and meaning that transcends the challenges and obstacles we may face along the way.
