Advocates for selfacceptance from "summary" of I Am Famous by Tara Luebbe,Becky Cattie

In a world that constantly tells us who we should be, it's important to have advocates for self-acceptance. These advocates remind us that it's okay to be ourselves, flaws and all. They encourage us to embrace our uniqueness and celebrate what makes us different from everyone else. When we learn to accept ourselves, we become more confident and comfortable in our own skin. We no longer feel the need to pretend to be someone we're not, or to hide parts of ourselves that we think others might not like. Instead, we can be authentic and true to who we are, which is incredibly liberating. Self-acceptance doesn't mean that we stop growing or striving to be better. It simply means that we acknowledge and appreciate ourselves for who we are right now. We can still work on improving ourselves, but from a place of self-love rather than self-criticism. Having advocates for self-acceptance is especially important for young people, who are often bombarded with messages about how they should look, act, and be. These advocates help them build a strong sense of self-worth and confidence that will serve them well throughout their lives. By promoting self-acceptance, we create a more inclusive and compassionate society where everyone feels valued and accepted for who they are. It's a powerful message that can change lives and make the world a better place for all of us.
